About the conference
The second Older Road User Conference is once again being jointly organised by Road Safety GB, New View Consultants and the RAC Foundation.
The inaugural conference - held in September 2018 - was attended by more than 140 delegates from across the road safety sector. In the post-event delegate survey, 73% of respondents indicated that they would attend the conference again in the future - and 80% rated it 'excellent or good' in terms of value for money.
The 2019 conference will set out to identify and discuss safety issues relating to older road users, and outline challenges and actions for road safety professionals, government and other stakeholders.
Who should attend?
The conference content is primarily intended for road safety and public health practitioners, police and fire and rescue officers, academics, central government employees and highways engineers.
Other information
The delegate fee will include all refreshments on the day, including an excellent lunch.
